This new qualification studying creative media will be delivered from September in day slots and as a twilight class.
Equivalent to a grade B at GCSE this course can complement any media course already being studied to give an extra qualification.
Course work produced in other areas can be used or it can be taught to complement any subject area.
The BCS Digital Creator Award - or DigitalCre8or – is an exciting new award designed to meet the needs of people who want to make the most of digital media devices and computers.
DigitalCre8or encourages learners to create real life digital media projects that build into an innovative digital assessment e-portfolio. The award syllabus is aligned with the National Qualifications Framework and is a nationally-recognised qualification at Level 2 (equivalent to GCSE*).
