Staff Training
in KS2 Science, KS3 Science, and KS3 Design and Technology using some state of the art kit new to the CLC.
Bosco City Learning Centre has access to a range of Science and Design & Technology equipment to assist in the effective delivery of these subjects. Provided by LJ Systems, the equipment provides a range of practical and ICT based sessions covering both KS2 and 3. The Living with Science programme has been designed to focus on the key areas as identified in the KS2 National Curriculum and the 64 experiments within it can be easily modified to suit a KS3 curriculum. The Design & Technology equipment provides 10 assignments covering a range of topic areas from Robotics to Pneumatics and can be delivered via a variety of teaching methods. Once the training has taken place the CLC will assist in the cost to transport your students into the centre to access the kit.
This equipment may also be loaned to schools.
