Spring term event bookings
Most of the new sessions are full for this term. We are now taking bookings from our schools for the following Spring term sessions with Jenny and Sandy.
Live theatre performance and recording (1 day)
A workshop where students create a live performance that will be recorded in a multi camera studio. Pupils will have the chance to work in groups both in front of and behind the camera. The final production will be screened on the day.
Recorded Drama (4-6 weeks)
A course where students get to script, perform and film their own short drama.
Movement and Music (4 weeks)
A course for students to create an installation piece of video art, incorporating aspects of music style, dance and costume. As well as performing in front of the camera students will get the chance to use digital editing equipment to create special effects on the finished film.
Movement and Music 2 (2-3 weeks)
Working to a brief, pupils produce a music video to a specified track. Elements can range from a narrative story to a more abstract performance.
Costume On Film (1 day)
How costume design is used to enhance a character on the small screen. Students perform a scene a number of times exploring how costume alters the character’s impact on that piece.
Fly on the Wall Documentary (1 day)
Students record behind the scenes on a theatre workshop exploring the process of how first ideas develop into the final performance.
